The 9.5km (6 miles) Queens Garden and Peekaboo Loop is a combination of the gentle Queens Garden Trail and the slightly more challenging Peekaboo Loop. You can do just the Queens Garden Trail, of course, which is similar to the Navajo Loop and can be combined with the latter to make for a longer hike. But to get onto the Peekaboo Loop Trail, you’ll first have to hike a section of either the Queens Garden or Navajo Loops, or start from the Bryce Point parking lot and access the Peekaboo Loop via the connector trail.

We spent a few days in Bryce Canyon and hiked almost every trail there is, and the figure-of-eight Queens Garden and Peekaboo Loop was certainly one of our favourites; that and the Fairyland Loop Trail.
On this hike, we not only saw some of Bryce Canyon’s most striking rock formations, like The Wall of Windows and The Cathedral but also, the solitude we found along the more remote parts of the Peekaboo Trail provided a most welcome reprieve from the incredibly busy Navajo Loop Trail and viewpoints on the rim.

If you’re afraid of horses, you should know that the Peekaboo Trail is a shared-use hiking and horse trail.
